Mind Blowing Facts About Roy Lichtenstein

 This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning about  Roy Lichtenstein. We learnt that Roy Lichtenstein was an artist and he was born in the 1923. He did Ben day dots to make people like his comic books and he makes lots of art to sell.Found out that was a leading figure of Pop Art.Have you ever seen Roy Lichtenstein? 

The Scary Tsunami

On Friday it was not a normal day 

 On a normal day we catch the school bus to school it was just like a normal day. But when we got to school a couple minutes by an alarm went off and we were all scared so the whole school  had to jog up a big big hill so we had high ground so we were safe from the water. A couple of the moms and dads came for their kids so they can go upto  some high ground with other family but me and my brother got picked up  from my mom then we went up to more high ground with some of my family. We had to wait 4 hours for the tsunami to come but it never came But we  never had to do work.

Dino Rama

 In   Te Maunga we have been learning about dinosaurs.  First we got into a group and then we planned what we wanted for a dino-rama

We put some clouds and we did a  little river for the dinosaurs. We had      pterodactyl and a T-Rex.  We used paint and we used rocks, fluff, and stones.

Treasure hunt

 In Te Maunga we did a treasure hunt and we had to find  some gumboots and then we will get a prize from the teachers.  We will get gold headphones and some free chips and an ice cream.  There were  7 gumboots.

Soundscape

 We first got into a group and then we planned what we were going to play about the forest.  What I had to do was rain, birds, wind, thunder, and sticks to stand on, to make a forest noise. 

Probability

 In Te Maunga we did Probability and we had to get into a group and we had to do a game called Sneaky Snakes. We had to roll 2 dice and see what it landed on.  We had to move a quarter up if we get two 6’s we will win the game.

Kawa of care

In Te Maunga we have been learning to take care of our  chromebooks. We can't drink or eat near our chromebooks. We must put our chromebook in a safe place. Don’t put your chromebook on a bean bag or you might sit on it.
