Attributing images

In Te Ngahere we did Attributing Images because we all go on google and search up cool photos or relaxing pictures or stuff you do at home. So we watched a video That Whaea Chrissy showed us, talking about when you use someone’s content and you don't give them credit thats is basically stealing their content. It's basically like people stealing their songs and putting it on the radio.  Sometimes you will have to  to pay them if you do that. So we had to go on to Google, click on tools, creative commons, licenses. There are free photos on there but sometimes it doesn't have the cool photos or the ones you like.

Wacky Wednesday

 Today the whole school had Wacky Wednesday. We had to dress up like something wacky or funny. For my costume I used a rugby t-shirt and a tutu with a wig. My friends called me Mummy K and we had Grandma R who was my mother, not for real, just for today River just had a wig - a very cool one. I had two sons, Shay and Mikaire, but not for real. Whaea Chrissy and Whaea Becks are going to give prizes out for the best wacky costume. I can't wait to see who will win the prizes.

PAL DAY

 In Te Ngahere we had PAL DAY.  If you are wondering what that is, we had to get into a group of two or three and you had to choose what game you were going to play. In my group was  Brooklyn and the game we played was duck-duck-goose. If you are wondering  what the game is you got to hop in a circle and one person had to start off. You had to walk around tapping their heads and if you get named goose you gotta get up and try to tag them before they get to sit back on the floor. All the babies were having fun. It was a really nice day for PAL DAY. Thank you Mrs Williams for setting it up. I hope we get to do another one 

Cybersmart

In Te Ngahere we have been doing cybersmart. We first had to find a blog post with no photo. I found one and  it was from this year. It was about Coastal Seas. It did not have a photo so I had to go on Google and I searched up Coastal Seas. The thing that I got stuck on was trying to find a photo  that  matched my blog post. That got me stuck so I had so ask a buddy and her name was Mahana. She helped me with all of it. Have you ever done Cybersmart before?

Marble challenge part 2

Te Ngahere we did part two of marble challenge. We got a decision of if we should restart of make a adjustment to are build but we did not restart we just made a adjustment of the hight. The next day we did the race but it took forever for my group but the first group got 48 points. The team what got 48 points was Ebony and Mahana and someone else but i dont no how. But we came 6th place with like 22 points and are last time we came 2nd but not this time. What would you do restarts or make a adjustment?

Taskmaster

In Te Ngahere we have been doing taskmaster. We had to get in to a group of three.  My team was Wairua and Jayden. Someone had to be a repeater,  a drawer and a talker. I was a talker,  Jayden was the repeater and Wairua was the drawer. We all got some paper and we had try to make a robot. It was hard but we did it. The next day we were going to see who made the best robot and we were seeing what  looks like the picture. Have you ever make a robot without looking at the picture?  

Analyze a dot plot

 In Te Ngahere we have been learning to analyze and to create a dot plot. First we had to look at a dot plot that had data of how far the children from room 1 threw a tennis ball. The thing that what I got stuck was when Room 1 throwed between 14 and 19 but the thing that I got stuck on was I thought that all the balls were landing between 10 and 20. From that we then had to describe how the data from room 1s dot plot was gathered. Something I learnt how to do was analyze and also create a dot plot. Something that was tricky for me to do in this activity was explain what I saw or found in the two classes. Someone who helped me was Gail who is a student in my class and math group.
